Your Cap

The Your Cap tab on your Dashboard is the deep dive on your annual cap. The Overview tab summarizes your cap in a single ring; this tab shows you the full story.

The four headline numbers

At the top of the tab you'll see four metric cards:

  • Current Cap Amount — the dollar value of your cap, plus the cap type (e.g. Standard).

  • Progress to Cap — what percentage you've paid in, with the dollar amounts (paid-in of total).

  • Remaining to Cap — how much you still owe before you hit your cap, plus how many transactions have contributed so far.

  • Cap Reset Date — when your cap resets, plus how many days from today.

The visualizations

Below the metrics you'll see two more widgets:

  • Cap Progress — the same ring you've seen on the Overview tab, larger here. The reset date is shown beneath the ring so you can plan around it.

  • Monthly Progression — a line chart that maps your commission contributions month by month. It's a great way to see whether you're tracking faster or slower than usual.

Transactions Toward Cap

Underneath the visualizations is the table that lists every transaction contributing to your current cap cycle. The columns:

  • ID — the transaction's number.

  • Property — the address, city, and state.

  • Commission — the company commission portion of that transaction (the part that contributes to cap).

  • Type — the transaction type (e.g. Sale, Lease).

  • Close Date — when it closed.

You can search the table or sort by any column. Click a row to be taken to the corresponding entry in Transactions.

Cap History

At the very bottom of the tab is the Cap History table — a record of every cap cycle you've been on, with its amount, type, start date, and reset date. Click a row to drill into a single past cycle and see exactly which transactions contributed to it.

Don't forget the Export CSV button at the top-right of the Dashboard — it'll download whatever's on the Your Cap tab to a spreadsheet, including the cap-tracking metrics and the contributing transactions. Handy come tax time.
