Overview

At Epique, you keep the majority of what you earn. This page explains how your commission split works, what the cap means, how fees are applied, and what changes as you grow with the company.

Your Commission Split

Epique operates on an 85/15 split.

  • You keep 85% of the Gross Commission Income (GCI) on every transaction.

  • Epique receives 15% until you hit your annual cap.

  • Once you hit your cap, you keep 100% for the remainder of your anniversary year.

What Is the Cap?

The cap is the maximum amount Epique will ever collect from your commission split in a given year. It is not a cap on your earnings — it is a cap on what the company takes.

Your cap resets every year on your Anniversary Date — the date you originally joined Epique. If you left and returned, your anniversary date reflects your return date and your cap resets accordingly.

Starting cap: $15,000

Declining Cap

The longer you stay with Epique, the lower your cap gets. Every anniversary year, your cap is reduced by $1,000 — down to a minimum of $10,000. Your new cap takes effect the day after your anniversary date.

Transaction Fee

Every closed sale transaction includes a transaction fee of 0.1% of the Gross Sales Price, capped at $500 per transaction.

A few important notes:

  • Transaction fees do not apply to residential leases.

  • Transaction fees do not count toward your commission cap.

  • You continue paying transaction fees after you cap.

  • If two Epique agents are on the same side of a transaction, the transaction fee is taken off the top before the split occurs.

Annual transaction fee reduction: Once you have paid $5,000 in total transaction fees in your anniversary year, your per-transaction fee cap drops to $250 for the remainder of that year.

Commercial transactions carry an additional flat fee of $250 per transaction, on top of the standard transaction fee.

Personal Transactions

A personal transaction is any sale, purchase, or lease where you have an ownership or lease interest — whether in your name, a spouse's name, or a business entity you control.

  • You receive 100% commission on up to two personal transactions per anniversary year.

  • You must have been with Epique for at least one year to qualify.

  • Personal transactions still carry the standard transaction fee.

  • Personal transactions do not count toward your commission cap.

  • Personal transaction commissions are not included in Revenue Share calculations.

When Commission Is Paid

Once a commission is received by Epique and the funds clear, your payment is issued within 48 hours.

All commission must be paid through Epique. You cannot receive commission directly from a client or third party without written authorization from the company.

Monthly Technology Fee

The standard monthly technology fee is $149/month, billed automatically to the card on file.

  • Power Award agents pay a reduced fee of $99/month.

  • Technology fees are non-refundable.

  • Fees continue until you submit an offboarding request through the portal — submitting the request stops future charges.

30-Day Money Back Guarantee: If you voluntarily leave within 30 days of receiving your official Welcome Email and complete the offboarding process, you are eligible for a one-time refund of your first monthly technology fee. This applies to the initial fee only and does not cover any other charges.

Good Standing

To receive commissions, revenue share, benefits, and equity awards, you must be in Good Standing with Epique. Good Standing means your account is current — no past-due fees or outstanding balances.

  • Accounts that reach 90 days past due may be terminated.

  • Upon termination for non-payment, pending commissions, non-vested equity, and revenue share may be forfeited.

Epique reserves the right to deduct any past-due amounts directly from your commissions or revenue share.
