Agent Attraction Guidelines
Overview
Epique grows through agent referrals. When you bring agents to Epique, you build a downline that earns you revenue share on their transactions for up to five levels deep. This page covers how attraction works, the rules you must follow, how your downline is structured, and what is prohibited.
Your Downline
Your downline is made up of the agents you recruit and the agents they recruit, extending up to five levels:
Level | Who It Is |
|---|---|
Level 1 | Agents you personally recruited |
Level 2 | Agents your Level 1 recruits brought in |
Level 3 | Agents your Level 2 recruits brought in |
Level 4 | Agents your Level 3 recruits brought in |
Level 5 | Agents your Level 4 recruits brought in |
You earn revenue share on transactions from agents at all five levels. See the Revenue Share page for full payment details.
Getting Credit as a Sponsor
To be credited as someone's sponsor, the joining agent must enter your name in their application at the time they submit it. Sponsorship cannot be changed after the fact — there are no exceptions.
If no sponsor is named at the time of submission, no one receives credit for that recruit.
Help your recruits fill out their application to make sure your information is entered correctly.
What Happens When a Recruit Leaves
If an agent in your downline leaves Epique, their spot does not disappear. Epique holds that position so your remaining levels stay intact. Your downline structure does not shift when someone leaves.
Conduct Standards
Professionalism
Follow Epique's conduct standards and the NAR Code of Ethics at all times when attracting agents.
Know Your Information
Make sure you have the latest information on Epique's policies, benefits, and operations before attracting agents. Outdated or incorrect information reflects poorly on you and the company.
Under-Promise and Over-Deliver
Do not make promises about additional benefits, special access, or deals that are not part of the standard Epique offering. If you are unsure about something, say so and find out before making a claim.
No Means No
If an agent is not interested, respect that and move on. Epique is not for everyone and that is fine.
Stay Engaged
If you begin recruiting an agent, stay available to them through the entire process — returning calls, answering follow-up questions, and supporting them until they have fully onboarded. If you cannot commit to full engagement, do not start the recruitment. Disappearing mid-process creates the impression that Epique is unresponsive.
Check for Existing Conversations
Before actively recruiting an agent, ask whether they are already speaking with another Epique agent or representative. Do not interfere with another associate's active recruitment efforts.
Be Transparent About Your Role
Unless you are their assigned Area Leader, Team Leader, or Managing Broker, make clear to recruits that your direct access to them will be limited once they join. Let them know they will have a full support team available after onboarding.
Manners Matter
Be courteous, polite, and welcoming at all times. Aggressive, discourteous, misleading, or immoral conduct is not permitted.
What Is Prohibited
Mass Texting
Sending mass texts — through a system, manually, or any other method — is fully prohibited for any reason.
Mass Emailing
Sending mass emails to agent lists for attraction purposes is not permitted. This includes course promotions, marketing materials, and coaching offers.
Auto-Dialers
Using any dialler or system that calls more than one person at a time is prohibited.
Calling Companies or Call Centres
You may not hire companies, call centres, or teams to make calls on your behalf for attraction purposes. You may use one assistant to help with scheduling, but that assistant may not answer questions about Epique or real estate.
Misrepresentation
Do not represent yourself as a leader, employee, or executive of Epique if you do not hold that title. Do not imply you have authority or a role you do not have.
Attraction Interference
Do not attempt to recruit agents who are already being actively recruited by another Epique associate.
Unapproved Materials
Only use company-supplied materials or materials that have been approved by Epique in advance. This includes graphics, charts, videos, and links. Submit materials for approval to [email protected].
Calling and Texting Rules
You must comply with Do-Not-Call regulations at the national, state, provincial, and local level. All numbers must be checked against applicable Do-Not-Call registries before being dialled or texted.
Advertising for Attraction
You may advertise to attract agents using any medium you are comfortable with. All graphics, websites, and materials must be approved by Epique before use. Organic social media is permitted and encouraged as long as it follows ICA policies and the terms of the platform you are posting on.
Agent Events
All events where the Epique name is used, highlighted, or featured are open to all agents — regardless of downline or affiliation. There are no exclusive attraction events. Any agent may bring guests, leverage an event for their own recruiting, or use it to network.
If you are hosting an event, plan for open attendance. A small venue is not sufficient reason to restrict access.
Stacking Rules
Stacking refers to placing agents deep into a downline structure upon joining in a way that artificially inflates revenue share levels. Stacking is prohibited.
When recruiting a team or brokerage at once, or over a short period of time, teams must join no deeper than three levels, with the third level capped at five agents.
Allowed:
Structure | Details |
|---|---|
Example 1 | Level 1: Team Leader / Level 2: All agents |
Example 2 | Level 1: Team Leader / Level 2: Manager + agents / Level 3: Up to 5 agents under manager |
Not allowed:
Placing agents sequentially down multiple levels upon joining — for example, one agent at Level 1, one at Level 2, one at Level 3, one at Level 4, and all remaining agents at Level 5 — is considered stacking and is prohibited.
Team leaders and team members may sponsor agents up to five levels deep over time, but stacking upon joining is not permitted.
After You Leave Epique
If you voluntarily terminate your sponsorship agreement, you may not recruit Epique agents to another brokerage for 30 days following your termination date.
