Stock Awards
Overview
Epique awards restricted stock in Epique, Inc. for specific milestones throughout your time with the brokerage. This page explains what you can earn, when shares vest, and what happens to your stock if you leave.
How Stock Is Earned
Stock awards are granted at the board's discretion. The following milestones trigger a stock award:
Milestone | Standard Award |
|---|---|
Joining Epique for the first time | 50 shares or $500 in stock, whichever is less |
Anniversary Date | 50 shares or $500 in stock, whichever is less |
Recruiting an agent | 25 shares or $250 in stock, whichever is less |
Closing your first sale with Epique (min. $75,000 sales price) | 50 shares or $500 in stock, whichever is less |
Capping | 100 shares or $1,000 in stock, whichever is less |
Achieving Power Award status | Up to 3,000 shares or $30,000 in stock, whichever is less — commensurate with your cap at the time |
Personal transactions do not qualify for the first sale stock award.
Power Award Stock Awards
Agents who hold Power Award status receive enhanced stock awards:
Milestone | Power Award Amount |
|---|---|
Power Award achievement | Up to 3,000 shares or $30,000 in stock, whichever is less — commensurate with your cap |
Capping | 200 shares or $2,000 in stock, whichever is less |
Cap Anniversary Date | 100 shares or $1,000 in stock, whichever is less |
Recruiting an agent | 50 shares or $500 in stock, whichever is less |
How the achievement award is calculated: The award is tied to your cap at the time you achieve Power Award status. For example, a $12,000 cap results in 2,400 shares or $24,000 in stock value — whichever is less.
Vesting
Stock vests 3 years from the date it was earned. Each award has its own earn date and its own 3-year vesting clock.
If you leave Epique before shares vest — voluntarily or involuntarily — those unvested shares are forfeited.
